Daisy-023 - Halo Legends by AngelCostumes Daisy-023 - Halo Legends by AngelCostumes
Here's another shot of :iconryuuraigeki: and I as normal Daisy and Spartan Daisy from Acen.

Don't really have anything new to say about this costume...save for the guy who literally stopped in the middle of the road to stare at us while we were doing this photo shoot...that was pretty hilarious.

Anyway,

Spartan Daisy - Myself

I like the height differences you two have. Spartans, even though they're taller than normal humans, they gain more height in their armour :). That is an awesome and convincing picture!!

Currently, the only one I have is my red one, and I'm still actively wearing it to conventions and such so...can't say I have any for sale.

I can link you to a forum dedicated to building Halo armor though...there's a A LOT of good information there and such and you might be able to find it useful.

It's broken down into multiple different boards based on build technique and skill levels, so really, there is help, advice & armor patterns for anyone.

lol, thank you!

And I'm sure you'll be fine with the Pepakura method...it's a great starting point. Just make sure to start out with some simple files so you get the hang of it before you jump into the HD patterns (which, even to me, are a nightmare...lol).

What is the inside of the helmet like?
Would it be too much to ask for a well illuminated picture of the inside?
ya know, to see how it fits on the head and everything.
Im thinking of buying one of those cheap wal-mart BMX helmets
and use the padding on the inside of them to line my helmet
that way it wont move when i move my head and it will be comfortable

:iconangelcostumes:
AngelCostumes Featured By Owner Aug 5, 2010  Hobbyist Artisan Crafter
Yes, I can get you a picture of the inside of it, just give me a little bit of time to get it out and snap off a few. I actually used 1" foam to pad it out, and then covered it in headliner material for a lining. For my previous set of armor (the green set), I actually used the inside of a BMX style helmet padded, which looked nice, but tbh, wasn't as comfortable as the foam I used for this helmet.

I saw this cosplay over at Kotaku one day. I never expected someone to cosplay her, let alone with unbelievable quality. But then again, that's the 405th for us.

There are no words. This is an amazing job, both for the armor you designed and for the person that cosplays as Daisy. You guys rock.
