Touhouvania Reimu

So I've been sitting on this costume for a while. I bought it last year (I believe it was October) and wasn't really happy with it. It needed a lot of alterations and adjustments...so I was just going to give it to Sonnya...but after a friend came in 2 weekends ago and asked if I wanted to do Touhou at Ohayocon with her, I said sure...why not.

So I had a week to do A TON of shit. Rip off the bias tape on the back of the costume and make the cut in the back higher...and then add new bias tape (all done by )...make an entire new underskirt (the original was pleated and had no ruffles)...make my magic stick ()...find boots...hand stitch all the chains into place...style the wig (again, done by ).

But we finished it, and I wore it for a few hours on Saturday of Ohayocon.

Was fun goofing off for a bit and getting some photos.

TBH, I had no idea how the Touhou fandom is, cause I don't ever really get into fandoms like that...but the other cosplayers we ran into were really cool (and I was still super reserved...lol).

But yeah...good times.
